Gorkhaly Foundation is an all-volunteer run, 501 (c) (3) compliant, non-profit organization based in Washington D.C., USA. We partner with grassroots organizations to support innovative and locally led initiatives in Nepal in areas of disaster relief, health, entrepreneurship, education and energy.

Gorkhaly Foundation is best known for its Rebuild Barpak Campaign, a sustainable earthquake rehabilitation undertaking designed and implemented in partnership with the community at the epicenter of the 2015 Nepal earthquakes. The Rebuild Barpak project was awarded the silver prize in the Sustainable Development Projects category by the International Project Management Association (IPMA) in 2018.

Currently, Gorkhaly Foundation is partnering to provide technical college scholarship and job placement program for youth impacted by parental incarceration in partnership with The Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC).

We take pride in our ability to bring people together and support need based, locally led initiatives in Nepal. Ours is an effort to nurture social entrepreneurship and promote philanthropic cooperation in Nepal.
